Imam Oliver Muhammed, Associate Imam of the As Salaam Islamic Center in Raleigh, welcomes you to view the first video show entitled Al Islam Refocused, the Guiding Light. The intent of the show is to bring clear information regarding the religion of Al Islam. This first show helps to answer the questions, what is Al Islam and who are the Muslims.
Joining Imam Oliver Muhammed on this show is Imam Dr. Salahuddin Muhammed, author of Bridging the Divide between immigrant and African-American Muslims by utilizing the concept of Tawheed as the catalyst. Imam Muhammad received his Doctoral degree in Islamic Studies – Christian/Muslim relations from Hartford Seminary. He resides in Raleigh, NC with his family.
